I cannot seem to start services on my Server 2008 box and I am not sure why.  The program installs fine and seems to run fine.  I can even load my program manually in a window and it works, but when I use ServOMatic to run the app as a service I get this error:

runtime error R6030
- CRT not initialized

Not sure why running it through ServOMatic causes that error, any ideas?

UAC and Firewall are turned off on the server, and the service is using the admin account to start and it still fails.

Using Warecase eXtended Task Manager, as it's trying to load my app it looks like it's getting an Access Denied message, however, I'm using the full admin account, could it be however the ServOM.exe is opening it that it's getting an access denied?  So far I'm at a loss as to why it would be denying it.

That looks like a strange problem. Are you using a 32 or 64 bit 2008 server?

Have you tried creating a service of a different application like the calculator or notepad? Maybe it's something specific for the program you're trying to run. Is this an application you created yourself?

32-bit server 2008.  It's a custom application.  I will try it with something like notepad later today or this weekend when I have some time.  I will get back to you, thanks for the quick response.
