Hi,
I am currently using several instances of the same application concurrently running on the same computer.
The only difference between instances is the command line parameters.
Now the watchdog refuses duplicate instance definitions. It seems that only the exe name is used to detect duplicate.
It could be nice to allow duplicate watchdog definition with same exe file name but different parameters.
Indeed at the moment I simply cannot use the watchdog for my system.
Obviously duplicating exe file with different names can be a workaround but it is not very convenient when you must upgrade the software.

This shouldn't be a problem if the only difference is start parameters. Simply create one item without parameters and make sure the "Watch this application automatically if it's running" option is enabled. Watchdog - O - Matic should automatically create new items for each process with the same name. And it should detect the start parameter of those applications.

I agree that we should create an easier system though, but the information above should help out.

Good news,
I've tried the solution and it works perfectly.
In fact I didn't get that using that configuration option, the parameters would be automaticaly detected by watchdog.
Thanks for the answer.
