Q: Why should I buy?

A: There are several reasons:

• Once purchased, you can use the full version of the application without nagging screens
• One time payment only. You don't have to pay for updates. Our policy is that existing customers shouldn't pay for new features or bug fixes.

Q: What are the limitations of the trial version?

A: The trial version will display a reminder now and then. Also, some features may be disabled. The trial version stops working after a certain period (usually 15 days). You will receive a full working version when you purchase the program.

Q: I ordered the program, but haven't received my order mail yet.

A: If you've made a payment but have not received a confirmation letter and download link within a reasonable amount of time (one business day for credit card payments or two weeks for other payments), please notify us via e-mail at support@kwakkelflap.com. Please note that a delay could mean that the e-mail address given in your order form is invalid (due to misspelling, etc.) or that the mail is deleted by a spam filter. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by these delays.

Q: I ordered the program, but haven't received a registration code.

A: We don't work with registration codes. They are a hassle for the user. We provide you a download link of a full version. Simply install this full version and you're ready to go. No need to fill in some complicated key. Our downloads are very small (< 5 MB) so the setup will only take a matter of seconds.

Q: How can you ensure that the order process is secure?

A: We partnered with Plimus and RegNow, two of the biggest and oldest software order-processing companies in the USA, to offer you a secure ordering system. This gives us a "VeriSign Secure Order Site" label.

Q: What is your return policy?

Watchdog - O - Matic

Q: I try to monitor an application, but the application shuts down!

A: Not all applications can be checked by the Watchdog - O - Matic application. The Watchdog - O - Matic will attach part of itself to the application, but not all applications allow this. We have tested Watchdog - O - Matic with various programs and most work fine. But for instance Kazaa doesn't and will close itself down if it detects an app like Watchdog - O - Matic. This is by design of those programs, and cannot be changed in the Watchdog - O - Matic application. The trial version will allow you to test if Watchdog - O - Matic will work with the program you want before you buy it.

Q: After a certain time, some of the loggings disappear.

A: This is normal behavior. The application only keeps 32k logging. It will remove the older loggings if new ones are available.

Sniff - O - Matic

Q: I am missing certain packets when capturing.

A: Sniff - O - Matic will only log packets that pass through your firewall. You might want to check your firewall and see if the traffic you want to capture can pass through.

Q: I never see outgoing packets, only incoming?

A: You are probably running Windows XP Service Pack 1. There is a known bug in this service pack. The best thing to do is update your windows to the latest Service Pack.

Fping

Q: I downloaded FPing. But I am not sure if it is installed. How do I use it?

A: Fping is a command line tool. There is no installation program. You use it in the same way you use the dos ping tool. Open a dos command box. Change directories to the folder where you have put fping and type a command similar to "fping localhost"(without the quotes). With this command, Fping will ping the localhost. You can change localhost to any host you want.
